Is the Rabbi Correct ? I wonder ! 28 juillet 23:37, par Dr. Moses A. Cohen. Oil
What is happening in the US is completely unexpected. Here we have in the US Congress 2 Representatives
steeped in anti-Semitism, in a sick hate of the State of Israel and so on. The spectacle of so-called Jewish
Representatives insisting in impeaching the most pro-Israel President of the United States.
I am in Houston at least 6 to 8 times per year and Americans are asking a question I have no answer to which
is quite difficult since I am a Professional Engineer and a holder of a PHD in Hydrocarbons Technology.
Why is it that the President gets no help from these 72% of Jewish Socialists/Communists given the
President's actions in support of Israel. Instead, they sit in the US Congress side by side with the worst
anti-Semites on the surface of the earth.
I am a Sephardi Jew from Morocco left for Canada in 1967. Incredibly we were able to leave safely and
reasonably with our wealth. I ascribed to George Bensoussan's position that in Morocco we had a level of
conviviality with the Arab population who for some reason, are somewhat OK in one on one relations
while they are a complete disaster when Arabs are in a crowd mode.
I read extensively about the Holocaust, an unspeakable episode on our Jewish Nation. So many innocent
Jews were slaughtered by the Germans and there in no excuse for that savagery.
One point is quite telling for me : I found that by enlarge, most Ashkenazi Jews do no consider that we
Sephardim are not really Jews.
Where I reside in Canada, I could not find a Synagogue fitting my requirements. I therefore joined a
Conservative Synagogue. What an experience that was :
People come to Shul and have zero Jewish Education. I saw men and boys bored stiff unable to open
a siddur the right way.
Since I have had a very extensive Jewish Education, I had to correct our New Jersey Reform Rabbi who
would attempt to go over the Jewish Prayers by omitting several pages.
Needless to say, I joined an Orthodox Synagogue and at least I can go over the complete Jewish Prayers
with no omissions.
