Claude Nataf

Claude Nataf , historian, founded in 1997 the Society of History of the Jews of Tunisia of which he was the president for nearly 20 years. He graduated from the Political Institute of Paris, where he taught. This historian of Judaism has built a solid reputation in the field of colonial studies on the Maghreb, to which he contributed to revive. As vice-president of the French Commission of Jewish Archives, Claude Nataf is also interested in the history of the Jews of France and all the countries of the Maghreb.
