Yves Jeuland is a director and documentary writer, born in 1968 in Carcassonne. Many of his films are about political commitment. It traces the history of the French communists, then that of the socialists, after following between 1999 and 2001 Bertrand Delanoë, Jean Tiberi and the other protagonists of the municipal election of 2001 in the French capital for Paris at all costs.In 2002, in Bleu, blanc, rose, he films thirty years of homosexual history in France.In 2007, on November 6 and 7, France 3 broadcasts its two-part documentary, Comme un juif en France, which from the Dreyfus affair in Vichy and from the Liberation to the present, traces the history of the Jews in France. This film was awarded the Lia Award at the Jerusalem International Film Festival in July 2007.In 2008, it produced a column on the municipal elections in Fleury (Aude).
